CLADDING
UPVC cladding is often regarded as one of the most cost effective and efficient ways to completely transform, renovate and modernise a house or building.
Cladding, or re-cladding your home or business premises can provide an ideal opportunity to add a layer of insulation and protect you from the elements. Remove the opportunity for rainwater to damage your house or building by choosing a system provided by The Fascia Place.
Traditionally, cladding was made of timber planking, metal and even asbestos sheeting, thankfully, huge improvements have been made in the materials used for cladding products and The Fascia Place stock a wide range of products to compliment all project requirements.
Cellular PVC is an ideal substitute for traditional timber cladding, and with the added advantage of low maintenance, cost and durability. It can also help to substantially improve your properties thermal performance.
Colour Match Guarantee
We offer a unique colour match guarantee across all UPVC fascias, soffits, guttering, window, door and conservatory products.

How can it be fixed?
Cladding can be fixed horizontally, vertically or diagonally depending on what’s right for your property, but the normal way is horizontal, building up from the bottom, and working your way up the building.
Perimeter trims are used to keep a neat line, with a starter trim to fix your first board to. There must be timber battening secured to the building first, and then the trims can be fixed using stainless steel cladding pins.
There is a pinning-line on the tongue of each board to guide the installer where to nail, and when placing the next board on top, the groove on the underside of each board will drop down tightly on top of the tongue, and cover all the nails, leaving a clean finish.
Please note: Hollow Soffits should never be used as an external cladding, as the product isn’t suitable (Just something to consider, if you’re comparing quotes).
Use the Cladding visualiser to see how the different colours or cladding and trims interact with each other.
