Customers – Current, Previous and Future.
We endeavour only to collect personal data that you have provided to us; to allow us to respond to your enquiries; to provide quotes for goods and services; to set out the agreed terms of any contracts; to arrange deliveries or appointments to fit products; to produce invoices; to take payments; to maintain accounting and warranty records.
Typical data collected will include name, address, phone numbers and email addresses. Records may be maintained both in paper format and electronically. Where data is held electronically, it will either be held on our own secure servers, or on third party servers operated by EU based, GDPR compliant service providers such as Microsoft 365, Google, Sage or Xero.
When you provide us with your personal information so that we can respond to a query, provide a quote, agree contractual terms, produce orders, arrange deliveries of products or appointments to fit products, to process payments, or process accounting and warranty records, we assume that you are consenting for us to collect your personal data and to use it for those specific purposes only.
The only personal data of yours that we are likely to share will relate to delivery information, shared with suppliers and or contractors; payment information shared with recognized payment gateways, e.g. Barclaycard who are our payment provider, processing credit card transactions; or 3rd Party manufacturers in respect of your warranty guarantee. We may also use IT or similar contractors, to maintain our systems, who may have short term access to your data, as a by-product of the services that they provide. These contractors will be bound by our privacy policies. We will also share your data where we have a legal obligation to share.
Where you log onto any of our websites, we may receive your computers internet protocol address and may also use cookies, which are small programs which are loaded onto your computer and which return information which allows us to measure and improve our data services to you. We may disclose service data and enquiry data to our hosting and web design company brighthand web design, insofar as reasonably necessary for administering our website.

Suppliers and Service Providers.
The only personal data that we will maintain will be name, address, phone numbers and email addresses, which we will only use in respect of directing enquiries, orders and or warranty claims. In all cases, we will assume that by engaging with us, previously, you consent to us contacting you for future business purposes.
Sub-contractors and Employees.
The only personal data that we will maintain will be that which we are required to maintain under PAYE, CIS or other statutory bodies. We will also maintain employment records including performance
records, training records and next of kin information, in case of illness or accidents. As well as sharing your personal information with statutory bodies, such as HMRC, we may also share your information with company pension providers, company life assurance providers and company insurance providers.
Company email systems are company property. If you use those services, be aware that we will not be able identify personal content, without first reading that content, so it will be incumbent on you to manage your own personal emails and to delete as you require.
