Fixed Flatglass Rooflights
Fixed Flatglass rooflights from Roofglaze are a versatile and cost-effective daylighting solution for both residential and commercial properties.
Standard Glass Specification
For their standard Fixed Flatglass rooflights, the glass specification is as follows:
- Outer: Heat Soak Tested Toughened
- Cavity: Argon Filled + Warm Edge Spacer + UV Resistant Silicone Sealant
- Inner: Low-E Heat Soak Tested Toughened or Laminated
Roofglaze’s Fixed Flatglass rooflights can be supplied as either double or triple glazed units, in varying shapes and sizes to suit different room layouts.
Fixed Flatglass rooflights can also be supplied in the following specifications:
- Secured by Design
- Walk-on
- Multi-section
Protect+ Flatglass Rooflights
Protect+ Flatglass rooflights offer the aesthetically-pleasing natural daylight of standard Flatglass, but with the added security of an upgraded specification.
Standard Glass Specification
For stock sizes of Fixed Flatglass Protect+ rooflights, their standard glass specification is as follows:
- Outer: 8mm Heat Soak Tested Toughened Outer + Sandblast Border to Face 1 + Low-E
- Cavity: Argon Filled + Warm Edge Spacer + UV Resistant Silicone Sealant
- Inner: 8.8mm Clear Laminated + Polished Edges
The stronger laminated inner glass pane coupled with the upgraded security tape and rooflight fixings, provides burglar resistance class BR1 to the STS 202 standard.
Hinged Flatglass Rooflights
Roofglaze’s Hinged Flatglass rooflights are the ideal solution for providing additional daylight and natural ventilation to your living spaces.
Standard Glass Specification
For a standard Hinged Flatglass rooflights, the glass specification is as follows:
- Outer: Heat Soak Tested Toughened
- Cavity: Argon Filled + Warm Edge Spacer + UV Resistant Silicone Sealant
- Inner: Low-E Heat Soak Tested Toughened or Laminated
- 24V as standard, with 230V options available on request
We can also provide Laminated Hinged Flatglass rooflights, as well as a number of rooflight accessories to help with ease-of-use and maintenance.
Bespoke Flatglass Rooflights
Roofglaze have manufactured and supplied all kinds of Bespoke Flatglass solutions over the years, such as: triangles, parallelograms, hexagons, circles etc.
Options
- Double or triple glazed
- Wall abutting is possible on 1, 2 or 3 sides
- We can supply bespoke glass specifications to meet your project requirements
Applications
- Bespoke rooflights can be designed to fit irregular roof areas and also for aesthetic purposes
- Glazing can be specified to meet specific requirements (i.e. privacy or solar control)
